How do I return an item?

ForgeShield Shoes Return Policy:

ForgeShield Shoes guarantees the materials and workmanship of all of our boots for the life of the shoes.  That does not mean our boots will not wear out eventually - or that a particular foundry work environment can not destroy the boots; they are only made of leather and rubber afterall.  What that does mean is that if there is a defect in workmanship or materials - no matter how long you have the boot - we will replace it.  A credit will also be given for return shipping in this case.

If there is disagreement as to whether the problem is materials / workmanship-related or wear-related, ForgeShield Shoes and the customer will work toward a mutual accomodation.  

Exchanges for size or fit are welcome.  We do insist that the pair for exchange is clean and unworn - or there is no sign of wear.  The return shipping will be paid by the customer in this case.

If we make a mistake and a return / exchange is required, we will pay the return shipping.

There is NO restocking fee for any returns or exchanges.

Refunds can be given on any pair that is returned, unworn.  The refund given will be the amount originally paid, plus or minus the return shipping depending on the circumstances as mentioned above.  There is no time limit on returns for refund; no receipt is necessary as we will have the record of that purchase on file.
